Remember Why You Came

Today is the Feast Day of Mary Magdalene, and every year, it brings me back to the one moment that changed my life forever.

A Message From Beyond

Right after my beloved grandmother returned to the Light, she began whispering the same words to me, over and over again:

                              "Remember why you came."

Day after day. Night after night. This went on for weeks. No matter how much I tried to dismiss it, the message would not leave me. "Remember why you came."

So I listened.

The Call to France

I booked a flight to France. I landed in Paris, rented a car, and drove four hours to spend one precious night with my mother, then continued another seven hours south, toward the ancient caves where Mary Magdalene is said to have spent time.

I didn't have a plan. I only knew I was being called.

What unfolded over the following days was nothing short of miraculous. Every encounter. Every detour. Every conversation. It felt as though invisible hands were gently guiding each step.

What I Remembered in the Caves of Mary Magdalene

And somewhere inside those sacred caves… I remembered.

I remembered why my soul chose this lifetime; not to help women become someone new, but to help them remember who they have always been:

  • Beautiful
  • Powerful
  • Worthy
  • Whole

To help women reclaim the parts of themselves they were taught to hide. To remind them that their presence matters. That their voice matters. That they were never meant to shrink.

The Birth of the Divinely Feminine Retreats

That pilgrimage changed me so profoundly that I knew I couldn't keep it to myself. It became the inspiration for my Divinely Feminine Retreats, where I now bring women to Paris before we journey together to the sacred lands of Mary Magdalene in the South of France.

Because some places don't simply give us memories. They give us back pieces of ourselves we didn't know we'd lost.

Reclaiming Her Story, Reclaiming Our Own

For centuries, Mary Magdalene herself was buried beneath one of history's greatest distortions. When we reclaim her story, something extraordinary begins to happen.

We reclaim ours.

Today, I Honor

Today I honor Mary Magdalene.

I honor my grandmother, whose love continues to guide me.

I honor the women who came before us, whose courage, sacrifices, prayers, and resilience made our lives possible.

And I honor you.

A Reminder, If You Need It Today

If you're reading these words, perhaps they are meant for you too.

Maybe you've been so busy surviving that you've forgotten. Maybe life has asked you to become everything for everyone else. Maybe a part of you has gone quiet.

So let this be your reminder today: Remember why you came.

And if another woman came to mind while you were reading this... share these words with her. She may need this reminder today.

Happy Feast Day, beloved Mary Magdalene.

P.S. If you've ever wondered what it's like to walk this sacred path with me, here's a glimpse into one of our Divinely Feminine Retreats, through the eyes of two beautiful women who experienced it.
